Office Poster Blueprint

Now, before any ideas pop into anyone’s head, let me make this perfectly clear.
This is not a cry for help. Honestly, I look nothing like this guy. I never carry a pen in my pocket, and I most definitely have hair. This, you see, is an inside joke. Allow me to explain further.

My office cube is fairly small, although I do have a nice window view. However, one specific detail is obnoxious and really stands out..an enormous gouge in the wall about six inches long. Not attractive at all. Apparently this happened when the cubes were constructed. Whatever, not that big of a deal. Like I said…windows are nice.

One day, though, a workmate and I were a bit annoyed with things going on around the office, and the gouge was really getting on my nerves, you know, by existing. Then an idea occurred to me…cover it up! But with what?

Well, the only thing either of us could think of was the old standby office poster, the Hang-In-There-Kitty. You all know what I’m talking about. But somehow that innocent, heartstrings-jerking masterpiece got twisted in the inner workings of my mind and came out like this. Now, I’m not 100% up on all of the HR codes and regulations, but I’m pretty sure covering the drywall scar with something like the above would be highly frowned upon. Thus, it goes on a stickynote instead.

Also, this one gets half-credit as a guest sketch as well. My cube buddy did the lettering for me. Thanks, you truly are Captain Awesome!
